Throttle body sensors

Hi my car 1.4 sport+ 2001..Haynes say air mass sensor cannot be replaced have renew whole throttle body..but I see the sensor on eBay for this engine?... So can it be replaced or not is the question?.. Bad starting and low lumpy tick over problem. Thanks.

For the 1.4 (the coilpack block) you can swap the maf. The older distributor blocks have it glued into the throttlebody.
