Have had this done before and its really only a small bandaid fix that won't last forever! Would just buy a new throttlebody off ebay there alot cheaper than you would think.

same here, resoldered every pin in the TB since 2007 and still workin

the guide says only 6 points to resolder? please confirm...

or do we have to resolder every point where solder is applied?

yeah I did mine about 4 years ago, no problems since, I needed it for a mate that has just bought a micra

dont have to resolder every pin just the connector terminals pins but i thought meh, may as well suck out n reapply fresh solder on every pin, can only be a good thing eh

i also took the mesh circular plate from top of tb , pulled the throttle cable so the flap opened , clean down the sides with carb cleaner or thinners with a rag round the scewdriver works good, do both sides as carbon builds up on sides and prevents the flap on throttle from opening and closing as it should , and makes bad idle or over rev or sensative throttle ie kangaroo style driving !!
