I bought a spare throttle body from the scrappy for £15 to play with without taking the daily hack off the road.
After reducing the spindle (With an angle gringer and belt sander), refitting the butterfly upside down so it is impossible to drop out on full chat (Could be a little exciting!) and after filling the screw holes with solder it was time to refit.
No problems as of yet. Yes this was an agricultural and brutal mod but I have more radical and refined improvements planned to carry out on the original body once I have run this one for a few weeks without any mishaps, Watch this space!!!
Modded and removed original bodies, Note butterfly reverse fitment by the square punch marks
Removed Body
