My daughter has a Nissan MICRA III PHASE 1 2003. Perfect first car but It’s been problematic with lock/unlock (works when it feels like it) and starting up with keyless ignition not turning (although the dry lubricant trick helped). Today a new problem It won’t start. Key will turn all the way but engine will not turn over and immobiliser light is solid red when turning keyless ignition past ‘on’ point. So I’m guessing that is the cause. I disconnected the negative battery point for an hour to see if that would reset it, but no. I’ve checked the fuses in the internal fuse box (i-key and immobiliser) and both appear to not be blown. I’ve tried the turn 6 on/off engine turns in 10 seconds but the indicators don’t flash to re-pair the key. Battery in key changed about 2 months ago and engine battery appears fine (but not checked with volt meter) Any suggestions gratefully received
