Taxing a car with a temporary cover note

Question is, can I tax a car with a covernote from a policy that is onl;y a few days in duration as opposed to a whole year policy?

Should be able to, to tax my Golf all I had was the New Keeper Supplement and a Cover Note that only covered a month

don't see why not, i got mine taxed with only a 7 day cover note.

mine used to do that with my k11, its a right fart on.....

You certainly can, i wrang the DVLA and asked them, i had to deliver a car to someone in swindon and only needed insurance for a few hours (www.dayinsure.com), but obviously needed tax too so had to tax it with my 1 day cover note...they said it was fine.

Definately can, we offer 7 days free insurance to all customers from our branch which is emailed directly to ourselves and we use the 7 day note to tax all our vehicles.
