tach/rev counter help please

hey guys, currently installing a basic tacho into my micra and having a bit of trouble getting it to work

not 100% sure if the tacho itself works properly either as it is 2nd hand but if anyones got an explanation on how this should be wired up please let me know

particularly interested in where the tacho signal should come from, and if i've got the correct side of the coil...

also does anyone read engrish/japlish well enough to know WTF this is?

Red wire to Ignition live, get this from behind stereo
Black to Ground, you can find this at the steering column
Green to negative side of the coil
Orange to illumination (lights)

negative side of the coil is where on the k11?

distributor... aus delivered K11 micra 95 model

You need to tap into the BLUE wire by the dizzt - it is easier to do this on the other side of the plug on it as there is some slack there.
I think that there is a guide for this with pics somewhere.....

cool, thats the one i've tapped... i guess maybe my gauge is faulty
