hi guys.. i have a 98 micra and its a non runner a moment, but my problem is that i just filled the tank two days before it died on me.. i'll hopefully sort this after crimbo. the problem is that i could do with getting the petrol out of it to put in my other car for now. whats the best and easiest way to do it please.

If you have a spare piece of pipe, you could attach it in place of the pipe that returns back to the tank from the fuel pressure regulator (the FPR is attached to the right hand end of the fuel rail as you stand in front of the bonnet), then just run the engine with the other end of the pipe in a suitable container. that way you are using the handy fuel pump to do the work for you (Y).
