My front shocks are knackered and need replacing, which would be better original k10 or k11 shocks? I've already got a set of each so which would be better in terms of ride quality?

I think it depends on the quality of the shocks. Both can be really nice or really bad.

Seconded, also KYB do a good set of either gas (really stiff) or oil based shocks (stiffer than oem).

i got KYB gas all round it is nice!
i would go with the k10 ones...

I would go with getting k11 ones as there are probably more options for less money, but since you already have them (and Im guessing theyre standard ones) then I doubt there is much difference.

yeah they are both standard but the k10 ones are brand new and the k11 ones came off another car only really got them to do a brake conversion (they came with hubs and callipers)

the k11 are a direct fit or at least they will be if you swap the top mounts (at least that's what I've read) someone else may say differently

Well if the k10 shocks are brand new then use them, you can't beat nice new parts. I have monroe gas reflex all round, found them on a 4-door in a scrap-yard would you believe lol. Oh and out of interest how much did the k10 shocks cost new?
