Whilst trying to get engine sorted found this dark green wire running astray . It seems to have been attached to a switch which was pushed down when bonnet closed. They wire with a connector at each end was just wrapped around wiring loom. Anyone have an idea what it did or should be doing. I have measured just over 10 volts on the green wire. It runs back to loom which has wires off to radiator temp sender etc The wire is badly corroded so seems to have been this way for a while before I bought car. Doesn`t show anything in Haynes book of lies. Any ideas ? Cheers
