Sticky gears above 3k

Hey,

Recently bought an 06 1.2 with 88k mileage. Car drives good but whenever the engine revs over 3k I’m struggling to get it out of gear and I’m having to let the revs drop to change gears. I’ve tested it while not moving and the same thing happens

Any help would be great

How does the clutch feel? Is there adjustment on the clutch cable? (I have auto so never seen the setup) . Worth checking it is correct and the clutch is disengaging fully.

really!? There’s no slip, engages fine on steep hills and when I put my foot down

sorry for slow response but yes, it isn't disengaging fully, so either the clutch plate is stickingm the thrust bearing is goosed, or ie the cable as already mentioned.

for simplicity, I'd start with the cable, but after that I'm afraid it's bell housing off.
