Stereo locked out

My wife has managed to lock her CD player after the car battery was replaced by entering the wrong code too many times. It still says 'Wait 1 hour' even though it's been a lot, lot longer than an hour!

Just wondered how I would go about getting it sorted. I do know what the radio code is but it's not giving me the chance to enter it now.

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery again then re enter the code

Got it sorted. Apparently every time you turn the ignition off it 'resets' the timer. Left the ignition on for over an hour without turning it off and it let me put the code in.
