HiHello. That’s how it works. It takes a few seconds to the eps to kick in, you’ll hear a click and the system should start.

Do u think my local car garage would find it on there diagnostics??Alittle far for me to come and visit. But I can check it if you want a day out to Birmingham. Usually it does not hold in an in assisted states unless it fails and it takes an ignition off and on the rest. I have seen it before where it sticks in a system power up test and when criteria is reached it continues but this is very unusual and probably degrading to become a hard fault.
Ah ok I'll try it then,but if no success I'll get back to you and pop up .I doubt it, it won’t be showing a DTC as it’s not failing. You can try.
