Steering wobble

Test drove a 94 L, the steering wheel wobbles slightly at low speeds, and seems to level out when you go a bit faster.

Normal? Buckled wheel? Tyre pressures? Alignment?

I would say 80%, you need to get them ballanced...

could be several things, CV joints, steering rack - tbh i wouldn't buy it.

get a mechanic if you know one to go look at it. Get a quote, try get the price knocked off it

Could be something ore major like a buckled wheel (just found 2 on mine!) or knackered suspension parts. Mechanic or RAC check is your best bet.

We bought it anyway but got 3 month warranty in case it's anything major.

The tyres were all at 20psi though, I don't know what they should be so put them up to 30psi front and 28 rear (seemed about right) and the wobble is much better!!! Can hardly notice it.
