Steering wheel refurb.

Hi, anyone know if it is possible to get something to refurb the steering wheel? Mine has worn in several places and looks tatty. Is there a refinishing paint available or am i better off replacing the wheel itself?

Thanks for your reply, I have a cover on it but where it has worn it looks permanently grubby. Worn on the spokes of the wheel, gone orange/brown.
