Hope someone can help. My 99 V Micra 1.0 struggles to start, mainly when warm, but not brilliant even from cold.
It turns over fine and always eventually catches, but with a resultant smell of petrol and some smoke. Once started it runs fine. The garage have tried to fix it but nothing has made a difference. They have used a fuel additive to clean valves, swapped the coolant temp. sensor, the emission module, the throttle body housing and the Lambda sensor. Still the same, foot on the throttle or not, slightly or fully down. She tuns over quickly and just when you think it's not going to start it just catches and then runs ok. The fuel smell and smoke are only on start up.
Love the car but driving me mad.
HELP !
