Stalling and running fast

This is the problem i have with my L reg micra, 1990.
When i get to a junction, lights, roundabout and depress the clutch as i'm slowing down, the engine stalls.
When idling, the revs are up and down like i'm depressing the throttle.
Having read a few threads, i think it is the throttle body.
Would you agree??

it's probably an issue with the MAF in the throttle body, assuming you've just posted in the wrong section, and aren't talking about a K10

Change it, or follow the re-solder guide
