squeeky wiper arm :(

hi i was just wondering how i would go about fixing this.

1stly, how do i take off the wiper arm?

and also these look like the original ones, or some very old ones at least. would it be reccomended gettin a new one? or just soak in wd40??

iv tried undoing the bolt on top of the wiper arm, but the arm wont budge.

to get rid of the squeek which is as loud as anythin! iv tried usein wd40 on the bolt and under the arm but to no avail.

can anyone help please?

that bolt is the only one holding it off so give it a spray with wd and a gentle knock with a mallet and it should break free. once you have removed the arms you will be able to remove the grill that has the arm assembly underneath your probably find that its starting to slip from its ball joint causing the squeek.

so how would i go about fixin this? and wouldnt that cause both arms to squeek?

just pop it back in and no as each arm has its own rod.
