Speakers in rear side cards

Does anybody know what the gap between the rear side cards on a 3 door k10 and the outer skin panel is?

not imagining its a big enough gap for 6x9's but woud have thought it would be big enough for 6 inch or maybe a couple of 4 inch speakers

all depending on the magnet on the speakers aswell

any help cheers

i had 5 1/2 inch components in my rear door cards, there was about 4 inch spare aswell. mine was a 3 door...

hmm, its the length thats the problem. it shudnt be too hard and imo it should fit, only problem is your going to have to reinforce the panels as it flexes quite a bit on loud volume, the speaker position isnt the best either as its near the rear where yourd put passengers, and they have a tendency to nudge them.

yea im going to mkae new ones anyway because ive just recovered the old ones! not got a problem with passengers as have no back seats lol

what do you mean by length? which way?

hmm, yourll have to fit them diagonal, if you just place the 6x9 to see how much space there is with the door cards yourll get the idea. :grinning:
