I had the MDF templates made but sold the car.
I've lost the sheet on which I wrote down the maximum depth.

Anyone done this?
What is the depth again?

Thanks in advance.

i have been told by my local ice guru that rear speakers wreck the soundstage, he laughed (a lot) when he saw them in my K10 and made me promise to remove them :upside:

in his own car he has subs in the back and each front door speaker has its own amp...... the sound is chrystal clear nomatter what music is being played or what volume.... personally i know little about this but am learning :grinning:

the way i did it was to get sum new panels with out the pockets in and make mdf pops cover them in materail and bobs ur uncle

i am in the process of doing this to my 3 door rear quarter panels. Ive cut the panel out where it bulges in and replaced it with fiberglass.

progress about 10% lol.

Andy, dont you have subs in the boot and 6X9's on the shelf? imo this is pointless, even the 6X9s are pointless, the cars so small you might as well spend the money that you would spend on the rear speakers on better fronts? just my opinon
