side light fuse

does anybody know where the side light fuse is in the fuse box, checked under bonnet and under steering boxes, none of them are for the side lights and manual says jack all so stuck as i have a side light out and need to fix the fuse back!

no the bulb is working tried it on other side!
think its the fuse but cannot find where the fuse is, which one it is either as manauals dont tell you!

strange, they wouldn't usually have seperate fuses. Usually it would just be on a fuse with the rear lights and dash lights etc (well the k11 is at least)

there must be a side light fuse for any light!
will have to ring nissan, i tried every fuse box i could find, and took out each one and still none for the side lights!

i rang nissan, and they said its underneath the headlamp gotta take it off to find the fuse, its strange that the interior heater lights and hazard light run on same fuse:S strange
but thats whats it done! gonna fix it friday

just to add that the tail lights and rear number plate light run on the same fuse :(

andy did you manage to get this sorted in the end i`m thinking i may have to relocate that fuse box at some point to in the glovebox

not been on here for a while but just giving an update as to how i got on!

found out from nissan that fuse was under the RHS light. ye couldnt find the fuse for it!
as one sidelight works and the other doesn't, i think i gonna rewire the sidelight as i was putting some r8 style lights in and wired it orignally through the sidelights so im guessing its that as both sidelights run on the same fuse!

yet since the two wires touched and fused the light, the interior lights have stopped working (temp control, fan speed and hazard flashing light button)

any ideas guys as i at a stand stil as what to do. Nissan will charge a fortune and not many dealers specialise in this electronic problem on a nissan but might have to give in to the pros lolfwn

andy i will get a picture of the exact location of the fuse tomorrow as i need to change a fuse in that fusebox

basically if you look underneath the passenger headlamp you will see a white box this is the fusebox
seems easy eh

well the fusebox is actually mounted upside down so you can`t just lift the lid off and twist your hand round to change the fuse

which means removing the headlight
to do this there are three bolts the two you can see underneath the bonnet and one in the arch to get to the one in the arch you will have to remove the arch liner and the bumper

the fuse is a 10a mini blade fuse

have fun mate ;)

tried taking a picture but you couldn`t see anything on it from memory it`s about halfway down the collum nearest the engine with the single aircon fuse at the top think it`s number 49 and 50 fuse there`s two to check i did manage to get the headlight out without removing the bumper however pm me if you want this method i don`t wish to publish it publically
