Short Shifter Mishap!

I put the Pulsar short shifter on my car and now I struggle finding 1st and 2nd gear sometimes!
With ur expertise do you think it’s because the return spring snapped? As there’s a lot of play

Loosen the bolt a bit. Could be to tight.

It goes into gear fine it’s just finding it don’t know if it’s due to the amount of play!
