Shocks

I'm going to be getting my car slammed soon, just in the process of deciding how low and what springs etc......

Matey seems to think that just changing the springs will mean the shocks are constantly running compressed, and over time will just break.....is this correct?

He has more knowledge about motors than me, but I'm pretty sure I'll get a better answer from the peeps off here!

it is more hard work for the standard springs but shouldnt break staight away,i never changed my shocks and was lowerd on 35mm spring for over a year

but you will get better perfomance out of new uprated shocks

i wouldn't go lower than 40mm with standard shocks tho.
