Seam Welding a k10 Chassis

Has anyone ever attemted or had this done? I want to hold off caging my st for the moment,but if the car gets more competive then I will have to as I don't want to die in a banana of an st if I smash it

i doubt if seam welding will add much strength baz, i would get a local fabricator to make a basic ally cage :grinning:

I've had a brief look at the chasis....I would rate it's safety/protection in a decent sized crash as minimal to non-existant. There's a reason they are so damn light. 80kg of cage would be a very wise investment if it starts moving around quickly.
