Scottish Nissan Meet

Okay putting the feelers out thinkin of another scottish meet for the 2nd of APRIL so just checking too see who would be interested and if anyone had idea's for locations again .
I was thinkin possibly somewhere central for the guys making the trip over the border etc so any idea's are more than welcome ..
I have too contact Fraz at fast and modified again as he will cover any of the forth coming meets that we line up so all the better ..

Well i'll be there again. Where have you got in mind to meet? Moffat was okay last time, but was a long drive!

Well its only been a couple of days since i posted on the other forums and so far we are getting a very good response from them ..
Well as far as locations go we did think of Moffat again cause it was really easy too find and it was a good location cause it was only 2 mins from the motorway and central for the guys coming across the border etc so far we have members from the primera club coming from cornwall ,yorkshire, co.durham ,newcastle etc . So looks like it will be a much bigger meet this time if the numbers going so far are anything too go by ....

ahh im like half intrested but was hoping to go santa pod for a volvo meet then

but where abouts in scotland, im up in Angus north of Dundee
 
I'm in Kinross mate(T In The Park), near Perth? Moffat is down at the borders almost. About 2hr drive, i think.
 
ah rite, not even passed my test (hopefully by end of month) but ive got an L-reg (K11 i think) 1.0 16valve totally standard

ile be ther in my 200sx with its new engine how i miss my car gona start ripping out the old 1 2mro and fittingt my rb35 yummy
 
wat bout a meet up strathy? mind you all the strathy cruisers wud b there too but we could all get up early an steal a few carpark slots..only thing is my k10 is no longer with us :( id have to make the journey in the french piece of tin they cal a clio

Anyone got an exact location i.e postcode or services point or somethin we cud use to draw up a map for folk so they know where to go as im useless an ill get lost easily hehe

Its a really easy place too find too be honest matey just head south as if you were heading for Dumfries and take the cut off for Moffat and it 2 mins down the road just before you come into the town itself but we'll get maps posted nearer the time matey

im still not 100% trying to get down to Santa Pod for the volvo meet (cant wait till i get a volvo) micra wont be racing desperatly needs a new gearbox before i do anything like that

Yea hear about that, but won't be here me thinks. Was there last year in me mates Civic, was good.
Anyway..
 
If I mannage to get the day off work and I don't have a wakend night shift on the friday night I can come, but I won't know if I have the time off until the 30th march. As I am only given my rota the week before.

Okay i got an e-mail today from Fraz at Fast and Modified and he said he wont be covering the meet for the magazine as it is so soon after the last one ...
Also they have alot of Car owners clubs in Scotland they are trying too work their way through at the moment so the team have been extremly busy ,
So if Fraz does manage too pop down too Moffat it will be for Socialising Rather than being work related

Right, not sure what time i'll be down there, as i'm nightshift the night before, and need to head on down to Waynes after! How long is the meet planning to last?

Thats cool then. Think i'll be there about 2 ish, as leaving home at 12, and should take about 2 hrs to get there. Then gotta find me way back to the A1 from the M74, should be fun like!

Just got back from Moffat. There was a nice big turn out, three micras! Titch's k11 with an "eau de scrapheap challenge" to get it thought its MOT in time to get down and travel onward. A guy (sorry can't remember your name) with a blue K12 E and me.
 
The problems that i had to get it through the MOT, i tell thee!!! :down:
Anyway, made it down to waynes okay, and now recovering from the night before! Cheers to all who turned up, was a better turn out than last year but grr to the 350z's!! Thanks to Pedro 9474 for getting it all organised, and maybe next time we'll have it a bit futher North!
Masterbiker, induction kit looking good, just get a feed to it now, and then i'll speak to George about the 182 engine!!

All in all it was a good meet and thanks too the guys on here that made the effort too come down for the day ....
I'll let ya know when the next one will be and yeah i think it will be further north this time although we had a good turn out from the guys south of the border with a 200sx and primera coming from Scarborough , and 2 x primera's coming from Manchester and a few almera's coming from Newcastle etc so thanx again guys and i'll see you at the next one .

Yea, was a good meet as you say, would of been better if i was there with more Micras! Will have the engine conversion done pretty soon i hope, and then we'll have the next meet a bit futher North!
