Save this k11 from the scrap yard!

Hey guys, this k11 has me beat, bought it for £130 its still taxed and tested, bought it from an elderly gentleman who claimed it would not shift while driving. So I got the car home after revving its nuts off while driving I know these don't shift like regular automatics but it should not rev like that at 50mph. I have checked the fluid, it's fine and a pink colour, I checked the fuse in the cabin and it was missing, I put one in and the sport light on the clock lights up but the car will not move in d r or l . Can some one shine some light on this? Cheers
