Rusty fuel filler pipe

Hi,
The fuel filler pipe with the screw thread that the fuel cap screws into is sticky with rust. Are these pipes easy to change or should I just try to clean it up. I think it's too far gone for refurbishing.

Do I need to remove the tank or is it just the filler pipe to swap it?

Something you might want to keep in mind if your going to replace this item.
The fuel filler and cap you have installed may not be compatible with the new filler neck.
Some thread on here that is what the person who changed the filler said.
Its best to get one that includes the cap but it may still fit depending on what you choose.
To be on the safe side tho get it included if you can.
I don't know how to change it but it did look simple process.
Mine is like rusted on the inside so I know this will be another item I have to get shortly.
