Rotten K11 cross memeber

Hi all

this is my first post on MSC so treat me gently please !!!

I'm looking for a bit of info from anyone who can point me in the right direction

Just bought a K11 inspiration 1.0 litre for my daughter to learn to drive in
-the front cross member is rotten but otherwise the rest is ok. I have just visited a local garage to quote to fix and he is ringing back later.

Can anyone whos had this work done give me a rough idea on price I should be paying ?? or even a recommendation of a garage in the north east that maybe someone has had work done at ??

Depends on how bad it is. Best case you just need a small patch which should be under 100 worst case: The new section is dead cheap. Like £30 or something. Labour should be around 4-5 for a garage so 230 odd imo.
Not ever had it done though so might be way off I guess.

We are in Hamilton in Scotland (Just off the M74/M6) and we supply and fit them for £150 all in (£170 if it has Aircon)

I got my x member off fleabay for £16 brand new and fitted it myself
