With the 3 door the cross bars are very close together. Has anyone come up with a way to have the cross bars further apart?
I was thinking maybe to have a third cross bar at the rear, just resting on the rubber roof gutter, and this bar being attached in some way to the middle cross bar. Probably a case of welding a couple of lengths of square cross section tubing..
I really need a roof rack that uses most of the roof space...
