Hi there, I'm new to the forum and apologise by starting with a tech Q!!
My girlfriend has just bought a K12 1.2s and I've been giving it the once over fixing all the little jobs that needed doing, now I'm upto the reverse light not engaging.
After some researching and testing this has lead me to believe the reverse switch on the gearbox has said its goodbyes, so I have a few Q's about replacement:
1) Am I right in thinking that the switch is located on the underside of the gearbox (on the left as you look)??
2) Will removing it cause the gearbox oil to pour out??
I just want to make sure I know what I am doing as it has been a while since I've mucked about with the mechanical side of cars, and of course as it belongs to the missus I could live without the hassle of messing it up!!
