reverse light not working

hi guys,
brothers new micra s reverse light failed nct as it wasnt working, new bulb wont fix it, any clues on how to get it working?

Have u looked on fuses? Have u looked on gearbox wring can be snapped ?

was it originally an auto converted into manual? cos the auto CVT ecu controls the reverse light. missing cvt connection = no reverse light

Did u look? For loose wires on lights? on gearbox for wire come loose?

Ok also try fuse box

The wire coming off the side of the gearbox is a usual suspect
