Rev limit light

hi all

Anyone know how feasible it would be to fit a rev limit light to a micra autograss car that had most of the unused wiring ripped out.

My lad got in the habbit of driving on the Rev limit without changing gear. I want to rig up a light up to prompt him into changing gear.

yes thats the rpm signal wire

Just so i don't bugged anything up its one side of the bulb to the blue wire and the other to earth.

its only a weak signal wire rootsey (a pulse)
