rev gauge

hello ,

i'm new to the forum and i have read the advisory on top but with the search i dind't get the info i want

my girlfriend has a 1.0L facelift model , and the thing doesn't have a rev gauge,
so i want to instal one .

i'm rookie to the micra so if you can give my a detailed explenation .
(i have bought an FK gauge if this comes in handy )

Mine had a pickup for an external rev counter under the cluster. Only some non-rev-guage Micras have these, other you have to wire directly from the ECU. I bought an eBay rev counter for £15, popped it in the air vent nearest to the driver and it works fine.

How do you know if you have the internal Pickup? What does it look like, do you have a picture? and which Rev counter did you buy off Ebay?
