Respraying Interior Plastic Trim

Evening Guys!

So my plastic trim (handles and door card plastic bits) inside the car are starting to show its age with scratches and sorts, with them even starting to lose there colour and go white. Is there a way retaining the textured feel they have to them? while respraying them, as it seems to me that "shiny bits of plastic" achieved with sanding them down etc will feel a bit cheap and tacky?

You can use vinyl dye. www.vinyldye.co.uk this will still show up scratches though if they're deep. Other than that you'll have to scotchbrite the plastic and spray with maybe a satin or Matt paint, if you don't want shiny.

Hi you could go to the scrappy and get some replacement ones which my mate davyboy kindly did for me!

Cheers Andy, the scratches arn't too bad, its more just general wear and tear, but i really would prefer to keep the originals and just renovate them
