Has anyone ever changed the camshaft in a K12 before? Apparently working on a car with a timing chain is a pain and so many mechanics are reluctant to do it, but I'm determined to at least try unless I have to remove the engine or something to that extent. You'll see that the camshafts are laying front-to-back and connected to the two gears which have a chain looped around them, which im guessing is the chain drive that will have to be removed if the cams are to be replaced. The cams are being removed so that they can be reprofiled (or so the theory goes).
