replaced throttle body

hi guys just signed up cause i have a bit of a problem with my micra. i replaced the throttle body cause it has had it andyways after i installed the new one when the car gets to its normal temp the car keeps hunting (revs up and down) i was just wondering do u have to sort it out by the garage or can u do it manually im only 22 and im not a machanic and know naff all about cars so all thep is appriciated

try the re-soldering guide, most people have fixed problems with there TB's by trying this:

i have replaced it its working fine its just trying to sort out the revs when it reaches its temp.

doesnt sound like its fine if after changing the TB your revs arnt steady, especially after the engine is at its operating temp. go to a nissan garage and they will get it tested for you....should be free its only a nissan fault finding thing they stick in a terminal in your cabin fuse box.
