removing trim 93 K11 model

A friend of mine was driving the car at the weekend and managed to find a tree......the scratches I hope will t-cut out but there is a reasonable dent in the o/side rear quarter panel.

We've had a look at the Haynes manual which isn't too clear / helpful on how to remove the trim.

Does anyone have any experience of this, how do you remove the trim and is it a relatively easy job?

just 1 screw where the belt goes through, then you lever the clps off iirc
do you think the dent will pop out ?

ok will have a look for the screw tonight, don't remember seeing it before.

I hope it'll pop out but don't think will be the same again

yes most of that will pop out with the heel of your hand or use your foot (will look like a bag of chisels, but a lot better eh)

ok and shouldn't struggle too much removing trim??

no, but you need a bit of force for those clips to let go tho

ok and reassembling - any tips? putting it back in is more my worry!
