Removing the steering wheel cover

Hello,

Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong category.

I have a 61-plate Micra Visia 1.2

One of my 'mates' decided it would be a good idea to put a 5p coin in my steering wheel under the cover. Could anyone give me some advise on what the best way to get this out would be please? I have watched some videos and most people seem to go in from the bottom and unlock some levers.

I think there are two holes either side of the steering wheel neck, you need to insert two long screwdrivers to pop the release clips, I've only done it the once and struggled like hell.
