Removing the rear locking

Hi! If I remove the rear locking I'll still be able to open the boot? Many thanks!

only if you have some kind of boot release handle

If you don't have a boot release cable thingy go to a scrappy and get one, A friend of mine did it for his car. Not difficult to fit. Then remove the lock and - happy days

i have this "boot/petrol poper in one cable" so it doesn't mind if i remove the locker, right? Many thanks!

i've removed the linkage rod that connects the rear lock barrel -> lock latch on mine cos it rattles about loosely so now i just use the boot/fuel handle. more convenient and don't end up scratchin the boot with key marks.

to also fit a remote fuel cap latch you'll need the latch mechanism & fuel cap door possibly with matching colour
