Removing Interior Door Grab Handle- Passenger Side- K12 Micra

Hi all,

How do I go about removing the passenger side interior grab handle from my 2004 K12 Micra? I need to lower the headlining down as much as possible to replace the aerial base.

I have popped the 2 plastic parts out with a screwdriver which has loosened the unit and I can wriggle it about but will just not come out! Any help appreciated.

The pop out pins are there to force the internal latches against the steel roof liner when they are back in place, so hopefully now you have popped them out, put a small screwdriver in at the sides of to finally pry the tangs out of the sockets.
