Removal of rear number plate??

hiya..
anyone know how to remove the rear number plate on a '96 micra?? no visible screws or anything so not a clue atm..

i wanna get behind it to put some rubber or velcro behind to stop the plate rattling against boot because of my new sub hitting so hard!!

oh and its an english plate....and im pretty certain that you aussies have metal plates different from our english ones....i would assume they have different fittings aswell? so this message goes out to you brits and anyone else who is in the know!!

As far as i know the plate sits right in a frame (here in germany) On the top and the lower end of the frame there is a kind of bar which is snapped in. You can move the bars to release the numberplate. Sorry don't know how to explain better in my english.
