Remote control error

One of the remotes for the immobilizer stopped work. The previous owner told me that she replaced the battery without success. I also checked the battery and its OK. I tried to reprogram the remote as the AutoData describes but there is no success. Every think inside seems to be OK, no burn circuits or something like that.

Is there a way to check if there is a failed component in the remote and fix it before I turn to my local Nissan garage?

Update; It was actually a programing issue, I tryet again and it worked now.
