Reduced power pulling away in first and second gear?

Our trusted 1994 K11 Micra is suffering from power loss in first and second gear!?
Gear shifting works fine, just lacking pulling power.

Any ideas or experiences regarding this issue?

Sudden or slow onset?

Missing/shuddering engine driving on load up inclines?

Rad water loss & or oil in rad water?

Dipstick oil level recent changes?

Oil consumption?

Routine servicing frequency?

Starting issues?

Air filter blocked?

Car starts immediately on the first go even without touching the gas pedal on a cold morning.
I did notice that the airfilter housing was lose, so reseated that and tightened the metal clamp.
Still no difference.
Oil does need to be changed, but wonder why this would effect the first and second gear and not the others?
Not sure when it started, but definitely not something that happened while driving or so.
Engine sounds normal no strange vibrations or so.

Kind of just started happening one morning....

Auto or manual gearbox?

Approx how many miles in total on this 30 year old micra?

Any improvement or change in symptoms when engine cold or hot?

Level changes of radiator water in engine oil or oil in radiator water can indicate head gasket issues.

No power to pull away is often due to ignition issues or fuel supply, restricted fuel filter, throttle body & or fuel pump issues.

My 27 year old K11 micra is on its second TB & is shuddering again at approx. 30 mph. still passes MOTs & just keeps on going.
