Recent tappet noise on my 115k mile 2016 micra

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue before, and if so how did you go about fixing this?

I'm an apprentice mechanic, and I've spoken to a few people, who suggest using an oil additive to cure the tappet noise. Now, then again due to the mileage and stuff, there could be some carbon deposits or build up in the valvetrain so idk 🤔

I serviced the vehicle about 4 months ago, and the oil level has been checked frequently (mainly as I have a slight leak coming from the timing cover), so I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions as to what I can do?

The vehicle is still driving well, no loss of power or hesitation but I just wanna make sure my car will be okay to drive when I go longer distances ☺️

I've got a MX-5 NB that the tappets were getting a bit noisy on, I tried Nulon Lifter Free & Tune up. It worked a treat in my case, reducing noise substantially - worth a try at the price.
