Rear Windscreen Scratches from Inside

Hi there,

I just bought a 2009 K12 Micra 25.

I noticed that the rear Windscreen appears to have silver coloured stain from inside. I felt with my finger and can confirm it seems to be some sort of scratches are from inside. Attached is a pic.

Appreciate some assistance please on whether this can be repaired or do I need to change the screen.

You could use things like glass polish. That probably won't work since it's on the inside. You probably would risk breaking the rear screen heater element in such an area.
Have not tryed this as yet and I have some on the drivers door window.
This could take sometime to remove and is probably a more simple to just replace the item.
