I attempted bashing my old one out with a socket and hammer, wouldnt shift, now i have a replacement drum for one that had cracked removing ill fitting alloys, its going garage to have a new bearing put in lol
Did the job today, got the old bearing out with a 14mm screwed rod 2 nuts and piece of mild steel that was a tad under the bearing outer diameter took a shade under an hour to complete. Bearing is a very tight fit.
The drum can be heated and hit out evenly with a big socket sitting on the edge of the bearing race. Thinly coat the new bearing with copper slip and repeat procedure to refit. Just remember the circlip. K12 esm states 140-210 Nm
