Rear Fog Lights.....help needed!

Hello my Micra lovin brothers & sisters....

So I'm looking to change my rear fog light on my RHD 2005 K12, from the drivers side to the passenger side (right to left as you look at it), as I need it to comply with French road laws (as I live in France but can't bring myself to sell my micra). Has anyone done this before or have any tips? Can I just rewire the right rear fog to the left side or is it more complicated than that?

Your wisdom is much appreciated!

Don't see why you cant reroute the wires to the opposite sides and change the bulbs over, seems like the easiest solution.

...or purchase the rear lights off a French K12?... then re-route the wires?
