Rear Bumper

The reason you're happy!
How freakin hard is this to take off?! (Rhetorical question)

Went to take it off to rub back a couple of tiny rust spots, and found out I have to rip up all the back interior!!!

Is there any easy way to do this? Especially with those silly little grey clips for the interior! (I don't want to bend, snap or have plastic creases everywhere!)

Cheers!

There is no easy way to get the Bumper off. The plastic Covers will have to be either removed or bent backwards to facilitate the Bolts. Don't drop the Bolts. The Christmas tree clips are also a pain to get out, a flat piece of metal with a V cut out of it bent to shape to use as a lever should make it easier for you to extract the little beggars :)

Oh man....and there was me hoping it could all be done so easy! :(

Poop!
I reckon this job will need it's own DIY section!!
I guess I'll just have to be careful! :p

If you do end up taking the back seats and plastic out it would be a good time to check your seat belt anchor points for rust :)

I've had my backseats out for a while, and yeah, when I took the bolts out of the lower anchor point, I had a tiny bit of surface rust around the threading, but nothing major! :)

Just sanded it back and resprayed it :)
