They go onto a hanger on the bottom of the caliper and loop over a hook on the caliper to pull the piston bud.How do they work?
If i get a lockable hydraulic then will that pass a mot?
Hydraulic handbrakes dont pass MOTs without the cable handbrake in place. Has to be 2 forms of braking. Cable and hydraulicCouldn't say Glen , one of the rally guys should be able to say I've no knowledge of MOT's @ H701micra
Though another option might be a line lock like those used in drag racing

an electric motor that pulls the handbrake cableAlot of moderns do, I know the vauxhall insignia does
Same as your handbrake lever tho.. But they don't test that :/Still need to rely on that motor
