RE: CV Joint

Hey,

I dont know the specifics, but I know Im going to need my CV Joint replaced/fixed soon enough [I think my dad said something about the cover or something still being there? fwn ]

I just wondered if anyone knows what sort of price I could expect for the work to be done in a garage?

Also, where I could get these sort of parts at a good/cheap price? (as my dad mates may be able to do it for free (Y) )

last time i looked (cause mine needs to be done) there where some for £15 or £19 inc. postage

bear in mind the pre 98 1.0 ones are different/smaller tho eh peeps

Any decent garage shouldn't charge any more than an hours labour to fit one but remember, most garages will charge you the full retail price for the part too.

Best get one from ebay (just read the description carefully to make sure it matches your car) then get your dads mate some beer to say thanks!
