Rattle when starting cold

Just got new 2010 standard micra (1490cc I think ) and it has this no oil rattle for the first 1 second at start up. The dealer says this is normal. A mech friend says that mazda's do it too. I dont like the sound of it, anybody want to comment, would appreciate. bob b

Would probably be a timing chain or belt tensioning as the car warms up. Nothing to worry about unless the noise continues while the car is warm.
As many of my mechanics mates say, ' just turn the radio up....'
